Heaven Speaks to Prisoners
Heaven Speaks to Prisoners
Jesus has not forgotten prisoners. His words of encouragement provide strong consolation for these souls, at one point telling them that, without material attachments, they actually have an advantage over many non-prisoners weighed down by possessions.
Jesus Himself was a condemned prisoner, and His heart goes out to these incarcerated souls who sometimes lose hope of redemption. Supplemented by messages from St. Francis of Assisi and St. Thomas the Apostle, Jesus reaches out to His lost sheep.
"You may feel the eyes of the world upon you in condemnation, but in the eyes of heaven you do not stand out. You are My friend. I am your friend...There are many souls not in prison who are far guiltier than you...Rest your head against Me, your Jesus, and I will heal you." -Jesus, July 25, 2005
